NICK BEENS STUDIO joins DEORON Copenhagen during 3daysofdesign 2026, presenting the LOKI STOOL as part of this year’s theme: Make This Moment Matter.
The 2026 edition of 3daysofdesign focuses on slowing down, creating with intention and rethinking the role of objects in a world driven by fast consumption and visual overload. The festival highlights meaningful design, craftsmanship, emotional connection and the importance of tactile experiences within contemporary living.
Within this context, the LOKI STOOL reflects the studio’s ongoing fascination with sculptural form, material expression and purposeful production. Rooted in a playful yet minimal design language, the object balances graphic simplicity with everyday functionality. Designed and produced in small batches or made to order, the work embraces a slower and more conscious approach to design.
Many of the studio’s objects originate from personal memories, industrial curiosities and an ongoing exploration of production techniques and materials. Through this process, NICK BEENS STUDIO aims to create collectible pieces that feel both functional and emotionally resonant, inviting people to experience objects not only visually, but physically and intuitively.
Presented as part of DEORON Copenhagen during 3daysofdesign 2026, the LOKI STOOL explores the intersection of graphic form, material expression and contemporary craftsmanship.
