I’m excited to announce that Nick Beens Studio will be part of Dutch Design Week 2026 in Eindhoven, presenting a selection of collectible furniture, lighting and sculptural objects across three different exhibitions.
From the colourful and playful LOKI STOOL to the debut of the MONO Floor Lamp, this year’s presentations explore my fascination with materials, craftsmanship and unexpected details.
At Forward Furniture curated by Liv Vaisberg, I’ll be showcasing a selection of my latest designs, including the LOKI STOOL and the brand new MONO Floor Lamp. A celebration of independent design, experimental materials and contemporary craftsmanship.
The MONO Floor Lamp will also be featured in Collectibles by vtwonen, a curated presentation celebrating distinctive design objects. The lamp explores the translucency of wood veneer, transforming a seemingly solid wooden column into a warm, sculptural light object.
A third presentation brings my work into a different setting as part of a curated dining experience by BIURO BURO, OHN and HAL2. Here, design becomes part of an atmospheric environment where objects, interiors and social experiences come together.
Dutch Design Week is always a special moment to share new ideas, connect with fellow creatives and meet design enthusiasts from around the world.
