THE STUDIO

Nick Beens, a graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven (2017), creates designs as an interior product designer from his home studio in Zwolle, Overijssel. His style is characterized by a distinctive visual language, raw yet playful interpretations of minimalist modern design, with a focus on detail and craftsmanship. He enjoys testing production techniques, experimenting with materials and colors to bring new, characteristic designs to life.

THE DESIGNS

The physical objects originate from a graphic and sometimes ‘quirky’ approach, creating an intimate, warm, and unique atmosphere in the spaces around us. Products are handmade in small batches by skilled artisans or own production, often ‘made to order’ to keep the environmental footprint as small as possible. The products are available through this webshop or design stores.
