BONNE TRIVET is a graphic object for the living or kitchen, driven by an ongoing fascination with aluminium and the proces of anodizing. The design starts as a simple graphic exercise, a sequence rectangular shapes, shifted and compressed into one quirky object.

ANODIZED ALUMINUM
The form balances between recognition and abstraction, hinting at a fish bone, a counting rhythm or a floral structure. It is playful in origin, but precise in execution, where a graphic idea is translated into a functional object, that is flirting with production techniques.
Aluminium is not just a material choice, it is the core of the project. Its precision, lightness and industrial character allow sharp graphic forms to translate directly into reality. There is a continuous fascination with how aluminium can be lasercut, finished and transformed, while still revealing its origin.
The trivet is anodized in a custom colour, pushed towards a RAL reference. Anodized aluminum outcome is influenced by material, preparation and process, allowing subtle variation between batches. Rather than covering the surface, the colour lives inside the aluminium itself, creating a durable, matte finish that reveals the material instead of hiding it. The contrast between the refined tumbled top surface, debuted edges and the raw laser-cut sides leaves a trace of the process.
Designed to protect surfaces from heat, under a teapot, pan, vase or plant. The open structure spreads heat, while silicone pads lift the object slightly from the surface. Even when not in use, it remains present as a sculptural table object. Light reflects onto the material surface, shadows extend the graphic and the finish blurs between solid and shimmering depending on the angle. The laser engraved logo and text on the underside quietly mark its origin.
